About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team within the Yorke and Northern Local Health Network (YNLHN). As a Rehabilitation Speech Pathologist, you will work predominantly using a multi-disciplinary model delivering client-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical services to adults and children with swallowing and communication difficulties
- Work in a variety of therapy modes, including 1:1, groups, telehealth, and consultative services
- Develop your skills in communication, including speech, language, and fluency, as well as supporting clients to access Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) to meet their communication needs
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary feeding team, servicing children aged 0 to 4 years, prior to school entry, and addressing the health and medical needs of children aged 0 to 18 years
- Develop your dysphagia management and adult communication (speech, language, and voice) skills, working with adults in hospitals, nursing homes, and in the community, including palliative care support
Incentives and Support

Eligibility
Please note that this position is multi-classed as either a AHP1 or AHP2 and appointment classification will be determined by qualifications and experience. Applicants must hold a recognised qualification within the Speech Pathology profession and be eligible for practicing membership of the Speech Pathology Association of Australia.
