Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of clients while identifying new business opportunities in your region.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries, monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activity, and prepare quotes, negotiate contracts, and close sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of clients
  • Develop strong, long-term relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Identify new sales opportunities and convert leads into loyal customers
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
  • Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activity
  • Prepare quotes, negotiate contracts, and close sales
  • Adhere to SLAs and KPIs
Requirements
  • Proven experience in account management or B2B sales (fuel or transport background highly regarded)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Results-driven, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Valid driver's licence
