Medical Imaging Team Leader

The successful Radiographer will be a pivotal member of the operations team, contributing to the technical direction of the business.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintaining a high-quality efficient medical imaging service to patients and referrers.
- Coordinating and supervising operational activities of the MIT, Clinical Assistants, and Patient Care Assistant teams.
- Maintaining and developing the roster for clinical staff at the site.
- Ensuring the safe and efficient use of equipment and resolving faults/issues.
- Assisting management with growth and development of radiology services.
- Overseeing quality monitoring and physicist testing performed across sites.
- Liaising with Radiologists, modality supervisors, and staff.
- 10+ years' experience working in radiology practice, managing day-to-day operations in specialist areas.
- Proven leadership ability and supervisory skills.
- Demonstrated training and teaching abilities in undergraduate and postgraduate settings.
- Degree qualified in Medical Imaging.
- Strong knowledge of RIS/PACS systems.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
