About the RoleDuring a time of exciting transformation, there is an opportunity for a Treatment Room Team Leader to join our busy practice in Bunbury. This practice caters to its community and patients with a wide array of onsite services. In this role you conduct a range of clinical duties including health assessments and immunisations, and assist the Practice Manager with rostering, recruitment and managing treatment room staff performance.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the provision of services within a Medical Centre's treatment room and assist Health Care Professionals
- Conduct a range of clinical duties with direction from treating HCPs including pathology collection, vaccinations, ECG monitoring, wound dressings, change of linen, cleaning and sterilisation of equipment
- Build relationships to create patient ease prior to procedures or treatments
- Triage patients and assist HCPs in procedures
- Assist Practice Manager with rostering, recruitment and managing treatment room staff performance
- Liaise with Practice Manager and Treatment Room staff to ensure SOPs are known and followed
- Registered Nurse with prior experience in General Practice or an Acute setting; previous leadership experience is highly regarded, with development support if required
- Passionate about health care and improving the lives of the community
- Ability to contribute to the medical centre team and evolving business, with initiative to make decisions and work independently when required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with patients and colleagues
