As a Disability Employment Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in helping individuals with disabilities or injuries find suitable and sustainable employment opportunities.
You will work closely with clients to identify their skills, abilities, and job prospects, providing tailored support to enhance their employability and overall wellbeing.
Key responsibilities include:
- Source and develop employment opportunities for job seekers
- Help job seekers identify and leverage their skills, abilities, and strengths to secure employment
- Deliver exceptional customer service to job seekers and employers alike
- Enhance job seekers' capacity for employment through training, mentorship, and other support services
- Collaborate with job seekers to create and implement personalized job plans, fostering a clear pathway to employment
- Establish and nurture relationships with local employers, community organizations, and stakeholders
