As an Employment Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in our service delivery, working closely with clients to provide tailored support for sustainable employment.

About the Role

This position involves collaborating with clients to understand their unique abilities and barriers, developing strategies to overcome these challenges, and building relationships with local employers to facilitate job placement.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Motivating clients to trust their abilities and identify potential solutions to employment-related barriers
  • Supporting clients in finding and securing sustainable employment opportunities
  • Establishing and maintaining a network of local employers to facilitate job placements
  • Advocating for clients with disabilities, injuries, or health conditions to ensure equal access to employment opportunities

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A genuine passion for helping others and making a difference in the community
  • The ability to empathize with clients and tailor your approach to meet their unique needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and employers alike
  • Resilience and adaptability in the face of challenging situations
  • A current driver's license (preferred but not essential)
