Safety Expertise Leader

We are seeking a proactive and collaborative individual to lead our safety initiatives across the nation.

Job Description:
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures in line with relevant legislation and industry best practice.
  • Develop and execute safety, health and wellbeing training and awareness programs to promote a strong safety culture across the organization.
  • Manage crisis situations by conducting investigations on all incidents and accidents, developing recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications in Health and Safety and experience working in a fast-paced environment similar to the hospitality sector. Experience in FMCG or retail is highly desirable.
  • Strong technical safety, health and wellbeing skills and experience including systems, reporting, risk & project management.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, who can influence leaders and key stakeholders through effective relationship building, influencing and coaching.
