Australian Energy Market Operator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and affordability of Australia's energy supply. Our purpose is to facilitate the transition to a net zero economy by 2050.

We are seeking a Senior Network Planner to lead a team delivering high-quality network planning analysis, insights, and technical advisory services for Victoria's Declared Shared Network.

This role ensures the network can reliably integrate the investment needed for the power system's transition to net zero emissions.

As a senior leader, you will empower a team shaping and strengthening our organisation. You will guide with integrity, compassion, and authenticity, embracing diversity and inclusion.

This role requires someone who thrives in ambiguity, collaborating with the existing team to shape responsibilities, refine processes, and find what works best.

The successful candidate will lead technical services to integrate network assets and system services into Victoria's Declared Shared Network, coordinate projects from Planning through to Delivery, oversee network and system performance monitoring, provide expert technical advice, build and empower a high-performing team, establish strong stakeholder relationships, and deliver agreed action plans.
