About the Role

We are seeking an Aboriginal Community Wellbeing Worker to join our SEWB team.

This critical role is pivotal in promoting initial and continued access to holistic primary healthcare. You will provide a range of services, including outreach to clients, planned transports, service brokerage, cultural input to service delivery, client support for healthcare follow-ups, healthcare advocacy, client follow-ups for missed appointments, and short-term case management.

As part of this role, you will be supported to attain qualifications in an area such as alcohol and other drugs, community services, or mental health.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality services that cater to the needs of Aboriginal clients
  • Provide culturally safe and responsive care
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve optimal outcomes
