We are seeking a skilled Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service in our Pottery Barn Kids store in Bondi Junction, Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Assist customers with special services, including gift wrapping, gift registry, and locating merchandise.
  • Efficiently process sales transactions, handle returns and exchanges, and maintain accurate records.
  • Stay up-to-date on products, features, benefits, sales, and promotions to provide informed recommendations to customers.
  • Utilize effective selling techniques to build sales and increase productivity.
  • Meet established sales and contest goals while maintaining a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Assist in visual merchandising, including maintaining store displays, signage, and lighting.
  • Uphold store and stockroom maintenance and cleanliness standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous retail sales experience, preferably in specialty retail and/or homewares, with strong customer relationship skills.
  • Passion for homewares and/or food, with the ability to connect with customers through service and selling.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with effective communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, climb ladders, and lift medium to large items, up to 30kg.
