The role of Customer Service Manager VIC is a vital position within the organisation, overseeing all customer service and support services in the region. The main contact for customers and regional management, this role ensures that the company meets its contractual obligations, operational expectations, performance measures, and financial management.

  • Managing all customer service operational needs and tasks across all the sites
  • Conducting all applicable storage services including inventory control, accuracy and maintenance, and managing the distribution of stock items locally as required
  • Delivering support, including labour assistance, to customers undertaking activities in the field, including managing or operating a field storage area
  • Maintaining engagement through the nominated service counters
  • Management of security protected assets

Key qualifications and skills include:

  • Proven experience in managing operations and warehouse management systems
  • Australian citizenship and eligibility for AGSVA Security Clearance
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams across various warehouse operations and geographical locations, ensuring safe work procedures and encouraging attention to detail
  • Thorough understanding of warehousing and management systems, with previous Defence warehousing and logistics experience highly desirable
  • Experience delivering exceptional customer service and working with a team to quickly resolve issues
  • Tertiary qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, operations management, or related fields
  • Experience in process optimisation, continuous improvement, and applying methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma
