Regional Legal Services Manager

As our Deputy Managing Lawyer, you will be responsible for overseeing the expansion of high-quality legal aid services in Wodonga. This role involves building and strengthening community relationships, coordinating services with courts and community legal centres, and managing complex legal cases.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a high-performing legal team in Wodonga
- Build authentic relationships with stakeholders, including Courts, Community Legal Centres, and First Nations Services
- Conduct complex criminal, family, and/or civil law matters, supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
To succeed in this role, you will need exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, proficiency in conducting complex legal matters, and a passion for building community teams. You will also require effective collaboration with First Nations communities and individuals, understanding their unique cultural norms and challenges.
