Job Title: Customer Service Manager VIC

Job Description

The successful candidate will oversee all customer service and support services in the region, acting as the main contact for customers and regional management.

This role involves ensuring that the company meets its contractual obligations, operational expectations, performance measures, and financial management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all customer service operational needs and tasks across all sites in the region
  • Conduct inventory control, accuracy and maintenance, and manage the distribution of stock items locally as required
  • Deliver labour assistance to customers undertaking activities in the field, including managing or operating a field storage area
  • Support and deliver services beyond the service counter or storage facility, including managing and operating field storage areas
  • Maintain engagement through nominated service counters
  • Manage security protected assets
Requirements
  • Proven experience in managing operations and warehouse management systems
  • Must be an Australian citizen and eligible for an Australian AGSVA Security Clearance
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams across various warehouse operations and geographical locations, prioritizing safe work procedures and encouraging attention to detail
  • Thorough understanding of warehousing and management systems, with previous Defence warehousing and logistics experience desirable
  • Experience delivering exceptional customer service and working with a team to resolve issues
  • Tertiary qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field
  • Experience in process optimization, continuous improvement, and applying methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma
