Quality Assurance Manager Role

This senior position involves overseeing the integrity and effectiveness of quality systems in a manufacturing plant.

You will be responsible for leading quality assurance and control activities, including managing the plant lab facility, ensuring the quality control lab operates efficiently, and overseeing all quality assurance and control activities such as audits, inspections, and laboratory testing for raw materials, in-process, and finished products.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading efforts in implementing ISO 9001:2015 standards and managing the facility's Quality System, completing internal audits, leading management reviews, and building action plans to ensure execution of appropriate corrective actions.
  • Oversseeing all quality assurance and control (QA/QC) activities, including audits, inspections, and laboratory testing for raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
  • Ensuring training, testing procedures/protocols are followed.
  • Managing and developing the QA/QC team, fostering a culture of quality and technical expertise in lubricant formulation, testing, and standards compliance.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience in quality assurance.
  • Sound knowledge of the requirements standard like ISO 9001.
  • Previous successful people management experience.
  • Excellent time management and project management skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Organized & Balanced, as well as independent and self-sufficient.
