**Job Summary:** As our Senior Compliance Professional - AML Risk Manager, you will play a vital role in safeguarding our operations by embedding an effective compliance program. You will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and monitoring screening and monitoring rules to detect and mitigate AML and other financial crime-related risks.

**Key Responsibilities:*

  • Develop and maintain the FCC compliance framework for Australia and New Zealand, building on the Airwallex global compliance framework.
  • Manage departmental and individual targets for the FCC Team.
  • Provide day-to-day management and execution of Airwallex's AML regulatory interactions, examinations, and ad-hoc requests.
  • Represent Airwallex with critical external stakeholders, including regulators and financial partners.
  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain an effective tactical, strategic, and updated anti-money laundering program.
  • Manage day-to-day BAU tasks including KYC profile approval, name screening alert clearance, and investigation in transaction monitoring with filing Suspicious Matter Reports if necessary.

**About You:*

We're looking for someone with extensive experience in FCC work (8+ years) in sizable financial institutions in Australia and New Zealand. Your strong understanding of payment industries and ability to multitask effortlessly under deadlines are essential. Credible stakeholder engagement and management skills aligning with our organisational values and behaviours are also required.
