Job Overview

ROLE OBJECTIVE

The Media Insights Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring that Publicis Groupe's media agencies have dependable access to the most advanced media systems and intelligence resources available. This position serves as the primary expert for media-centric products, enhancements, and procedural advancements. The analyst will deliver critical insights and intelligence necessary for effective media planning, execution, measurement, and analytics, thereby maintaining a competitive advantage in a rapidly changing media environment, including both established and emerging video platforms.

KEY DELIVERABLES

Media Tools and Resources

Contribute to the strategic vision of Publicis proprietary products, tools, and intelligence services that provide a competitive advantage against evolving capabilities. Oversee the strategic enhancement and support of media intelligence systems. Facilitate the timely delivery of a replacement for the proprietary optimization system to meet future market demands. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless operation of proprietary systems through technical support.

Product Development and Enhancements

Assist Product Owners in evaluating product performance and driving improvements. Work alongside stakeholders to uncover revenue opportunities within existing media products and data platforms. Partner with business teams to develop and implement metrics, automated reporting solutions, and process enhancements to fulfill business requirements. Proactively seek opportunities to innovate and enhance existing proprietary systems.

Insights and Analytics

Aid in generating insights for media and advertising effectiveness to enhance business performance. Utilize analytics and business intelligence skills to gather and synthesize data from various sources, extracting meaningful insights. Collaborate closely with the Research Director to design and deliver media insights studies that support stakeholders.

Stakeholder Engagement

Assist the Media Intelligence and Capabilities Director in coordinating with Product Owners, media agencies, third-party software vendors, data providers, and other external partners to deliver actionable intelligence and foster business development. Cultivate and maintain constructive relationships with relevant technology and data partners, serving as the main contact for third-party tools and data providers.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

In-depth understanding of media planning and trading processes. Proficient knowledge of media optimization and planning tools. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret media audience data effectively. Experience with data visualization tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau. Familiarity with SQL, Python, and advanced Excel macro writing is advantageous. Knowledge of analytical software like SAS, SPSS, and Google Analytics. Understanding of Power Apps for business process improvement is a plus. Awareness of Business Improvement concepts to enhance team productivity. Advanced knowledge of syndicated media systems. Comprehension of Media Effectiveness principles. Extensive knowledge of the media landscape.
