Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) International is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our international HR team. As a key member of our team, you will provide strategic guidance and support to our Asia Pacific Region, ensuring the effective management of our human resources.
Key Responsibilities- Provide HR Business Partner service to stakeholders in the Asia Pacific Region, including Resourcing Groups.
- Support the Asia Pacific Region through regular visits, participation in conferences, and oversight of workforce and succession planning.
- Identify learning and development opportunities for staff and develop strong working relationships with stakeholders.
- Act as the global deputy Safeguarding Coordinator, ensuring implementation and compliance with safeguarding standards.
- Oversee all safeguarding officers within the region and provide guidance, training, and support to programmes and the HR team on recruitment and onboarding policy, practices, and processes.
- Degree qualified with postgraduate training in personnel management, preferably CIPD/AHRI qualified or equivalent.
- Aptitude in verbal reasoning.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Able to negotiate persuasively and effectively.
- Experience as a HR Manager in a generalist role.
- Proven experience in leading and developing a team.
- Computer literate.
- Previous cross-cultural and/or mission experience.
- Advanced knowledge of the principles, practices, and procedures relevant to HR management.
- Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel internationally for 6-8 weeks to visit programmes and attend international HR team meetings.
- Pragmatic approach to problem solving.
- Project management skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of Australian employment law.
