We are seeking a Sales Development Specialist to contribute to our expanding operations in the APAC region. Your primary responsibility will be to enhance revenue by generating and qualifying leads for our sales division. In this position, you will serve as the initial contact point in the sales journey for prospective clients.

Lightspeed's Outbound team is currently experiencing significant growth. Our processes have been fine-tuned and optimized over recent years, and now is the perfect time to broaden our team and our outreach. We are not a conventional organization, and we do not expect you to be one either. Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and prospecting new business opportunities primarily through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions, reaching out to decision-makers to present our offerings.
  • Engaging with and qualifying new leads through various communication channels.
  • Collaborating with our Account Executive team to schedule demonstrations of our platforms for ideal prospective clients.
  • Working alongside the Marketing/Sales team to devise innovative strategies for enhancing our sales pipeline based on market insights.
  • Consistently striving to achieve clearly defined monthly, quarterly, and annual objectives.

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • Experience in a sales or call center environment, particularly in a target-driven setting.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Technological proficiency, with the ability to assist those who may not be as tech-savvy.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, demonstrating a proactive approach and adaptability to meet business needs.
  • Familiarity with Retail/Hospitality point-of-sale systems or technology is advantageous but not essential.
