About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandising Specialist to join our team at Acosta Sales & Marketing. As a Merchandising Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients' merchandising initiatives and fostering strong relationships with store and department managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planogram Execution: Arrange shelving, displays, and walls according to provided planograms and instructions.
  • Scheduling and Organization: Plan and organize store visits within your assigned territory, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
  • Communication and Reporting: Keep supervisors informed of your work schedule and complete shift reports, including daily submissions with data and photographs of completed tasks.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate positive connections with key in-store contacts, including store managers and department heads.
  • Continuous Learning: Attend mandatory training sessions to stay up-to-date on the latest merchandising techniques and best practices.
Requirements
  • Merchandising Experience: While prior experience is beneficial, equivalent experience will be considered, and training will be provided.
  • Attention to Detail: Execute planogram changes accurately and efficiently.
  • Organizational Skills: Multitask effectively and comply with all deadlines.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to lift 30-50 lbs, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods of time.
  • Enthusiasm and Adaptability: Energetic, self-motivated, and enthusiastic, with a flexible and open approach to change.
  • Effective Communication: Strong written and oral skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
