Tennis Australia is seeking a People Partner to support senior leaders and teams in bringing out the best in their people.

About the Role

This role will provide expert advice and people solutions that drive engagement, performance, and strategic growth. The ideal candidate will have experience in a HR Business Partner or similar advisory role, ideally in a complex or fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partnering with Leaders
    • Collaborate with business leaders to align people practices with strategic goals
  • Talent Development
    • Use HR data and insights to identify trends and tailor solutions across performance, retention, and development
  • Leader Capability Building
    • Coach and build leader capability in organisational design, change, and culture
  • Employee Relations
    • Provide trusted guidance on employee relations and employment legislation
  • Workplace Grievances
    • Ensure appropriate resolution of workplace grievances in line with policies, legislation, and best practice
  • Performance Management
    • Facilitate performance, engagement and talent processes including succession planning and salary reviews
  • Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
    • Drive action on diversity, equity and inclusion through data and practical initiatives
About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have strong understanding of ER legislation and experience managing complex ER matters successfully
  • Be comfortable working with senior stakeholders and influencing at all levels
  • Enjoy solving complex people challenges with both strategic thinking and practical execution
  • Be data-informed and outcomes-focused, with a commitment to equity and inclusion
  • Experience with an HCM system (preference given to Workday)
