Job Role

As a Strategic Operations Coordinator, you will play a key role in driving the success of our underground operations.

  • Develop and implement operational plans that meet safety, production, and efficiency targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize mining processes and infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare strategic designs, operational layouts, and instructions to meet mining schedules.
  • Develop infrastructure plans and schedules considering mining interactions and budget requirements.
  • Guide and communicate planning guidance to the Production Team, assisting with weekly schedule development.
  • Assist with project collaboration and coordination across multiple departments.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering or a related field;
  • Completed a Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency or ability to obtain one;
  • Strong underground engineering experience preferably in gold operations;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mining software such as Deswik and Ventsim;
  • Manual valid Driver's License.
