Job Title

We are seeking a Technical Services Manager to lead our Mine Technical Services Team.

This role is responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of underground mining operations, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient production.

  • Technical Services Manager will oversee key technical elements including geotechnical, mine planning, ventilation, and survey.

Key responsibilities include generating short and medium-term mine designs, optimizing schedules, developing resource allocation plans, and managing team resources to support operational and strategic goals.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have extensive operational experience, preferably in the gold industry, with a proven track record in a similar role within a large-scale underground mine. Key success factors include exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.

  • Leadership: Drive the Mine Technical Services Team towards achieving operational excellence.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and senior management.
  • Strategic Planning: Generate short- and medium-term mine designs, optimize schedules, and develop resource allocation plans to support business objectives.
