At Microsoft, we're committed to empowering our customers to thrive in a rapidly changing world. As a Cloud Endpoint Technical Specialist, you'll play a critical role in helping our enterprise customers modernize their endpoints and adopt a Zero Trust security model.

Job Purpose

As a pre-sales technical specialist, your primary goal will be to establish confidence and trust with our customers, enabling them to leverage Microsoft 365 Solutions, including Windows endpoints, managed by Modern IT using Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Azure AD, and 'as-a-service' model technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Scale Customer Engagements: Proactively reach out to customers, leveraging your expertise in Microsoft products and solutions, to understand their business challenges and determine the necessary technology strategy.
  • Build Strategy: Provide strategic, technical, and partner input to develop compete strategies, taking into account customer feedback and the competitive landscape.
  • Solution Design and Proof of Concept: Demonstrate architecture patterns for design, development, configuration, and deployment/adoption/governance planning, applying sales methodologies and leveraging partner/customer teams as needed.
  • Change Management and Adoption: Drive adoption and change management by developing a clear strategy and execution plan, including readiness assessments, value realization, and optimization.
  • Capability in Conducting Pilots: Confirm the Endpoint strategy and value proposition, prepare the environment for deployment, and define enterprise deployment programs.
  • Collaborator and Orchestrator: Work in a v-team to drive technical solutions, ensuring the success of customers and Microsoft.
  • Education and Development: Proactively identify learning gaps, monitor and respond to internal tech community posts, attend community calls, sessions, hackathons, etc., and practice expertise by communicating with customers, partners, and senior colleagues.
  • Leverage Partner Ecosystem: Act as the liaison between the partner and team, facilitating partner resources and processes, and identifying Cloud Endpoint skill and resource gaps.
