Firefighter Role Overview">

The Firefighter role involves responding to fire and emergency incidents as a member of the station team. You will promote community safety and emergency preparedness by contributing to community education activities, developing and maintaining competencies through regular drills and training, and operating specialist firefighting and rescue equipment safely and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to fire and other emergency incidents as a member of the station team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Eligibility to apply for or hold a current Blue Card.
  • Employer's written consent to attend incidents and emergencies (where applicable).
  • Live or work within a reasonable distance of auxiliary fire station.
  • Australian Permanent Resident Status.
  • Manual C Class driver's licence.
