Strategic Growth Manager

We are seeking a Strategic Growth Manager to lead our commercial strategies and drive business growth through innovation.

About the Role
  • The Strategic Growth Manager will be responsible for leading the development and execution of commercial strategies, embedding strategic frameworks, and ensuring initiatives align with business priorities.

  • This role will oversee market intelligence, business case development, and new product innovation while providing critical insights that support executive decision-making.

  • You'll chair governance forums, track initiatives against value targets, and ensure strategic risks are effectively managed.


What You Will Do
  • Develop and Embed Strategic Planning Frameworks: Translate business strategy into clear priorities and execution roadmaps.

  • Lead Competitor Analysis and Market Scanning: Deliver actionable insights through competitor analysis, market scanning, and external benchmarking.

  • Pilot New Product Opportunities: Identify, assess, and pilot new product opportunities that align with commercial viability and strategic goals.

  • Oversee Business Case Development: Provide M&A support, including due diligence and integration planning.

  • Chair Governance Forums: Track initiatives against value targets and ensure strategic risks are effectively managed.


What You Need
  • A proven track record in strategy, corporate development, or management consulting with 7+ years of experience.

  • A strong background in strategic planning, M&A, and business case development.

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

  • Financial services, asset leasing, or capital-intensive industry experience (fleet, novated, automotive or mobility highly regarded).

  • Proven ability to deliver insights through competitor analysis, market intelligence, and commercial modelling.

  • Skill in strategic frameworks (OKRs, SWOT, scenario planning) with advanced Excel and PowerPoint capability.

  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with experience influencing senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
