Senior Partnerships Manager

This role requires the development and maintenance of strategic partnerships with key clients to drive business growth and revenue. As Senior Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for managing existing partnership relationships with key clients, ensuring contractual deliverables are executed in an effective and timely manner. You will also strategically work with clients to ensure they achieve a return on investment while growing and uplifting investment across respective properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients to drive business growth and revenue.

  • Reward and retain existing partners through effective relationship management.
  • Develop and pursue new digital marketing opportunities to drive business growth.
  • Manage a direct report, driving engagement and development through effective leadership.
Accountabilities:
  • Manage several key Championship and Event partnership accounts to ensure all contracted partnership arrangements are delivered and reported on.
  • Develop strong relationships with all partners and event stakeholders to ensure sponsor objectives and contracted deliverables can be achieved.
  • Regularly report to the Head of Client Services on sponsor management and delivery of sponsor KPIs.
  • Collaborate with Supercars research/insights partners to develop an insights-centred Commercial Partnerships program.
  • Own key internal processes, including TV/content deliverables mutually agreed upon.
  • Work closely with the Digital Department/Greenroom to identify new opportunities across all partnerships, managing digital asset rollout.
  • Identify new opportunities within Supercars Events and work with sponsors to provide added value to their partnerships.
  • Prepare draft partnership contracts for approval/finalisation/amendment by the Legal Team.
  • Maintain the partnership deliverables system and partnership contract filing system.
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of the Business-to-Business Partner program.
  • Deliver partnership entitlements at Supercars events consistently with how they have been sold, including attendance at most Supercars Events.
  • Assist the Corporate Hospitality team and Events team in implementing and managing partnership benefits at our Events.
  • Manage Championship/Event partnership logo use and other contracted or non-contracted deliverables.
  • Work with the Head of Client Services/Partnerships Managers/Partnership Executives to ensure event delivery (e.g., course car rides, grid walks).
Requirements:
  • Professional experience:
    • Relevant tertiary qualifications.
    • Minimum 6+ years' experience.
    • Previous experience in sales & partnerships/sponsorships and/or sporting environment.
    • Sound understanding of the digital landscape and delivery of digital assets.
    • Experience in managing event activations.
    • Project management experience dealing with large events.
