This role is crucial to the operating theatre process flow, working under the direction of a Nurse Manager.
Key responsibilities include assisting with patient transfers to and from the Operating Theatre, transferring and positioning patients in the operating theatre, applying Diathermy plates and positioning equipment within the operating theatre suite.
Maintaining a safe and clean environment by regularly cleaning the operating theatre suite is also essential.
Applicants should have recent experience in an operating theatre environment, a strong willingness to learn and commit to customer service.
- Able to demonstrate communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
The position involves a seven-day roster with on-call and overtime responsibilities.
