Operating Theatre Assistant Job

This role involves working in a dynamic environment, assisting with patient care and theatre operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing assistance during patient transfers to and from the Operating Theatre.
  • Aiding in positioning patients for procedures, following competency assessments.
  • Supporting the application of Diathermy plates and positioning equipment within the operating suite after competence has been evaluated.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment by regularly cleaning before, during, and after theatre schedules.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organisational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

This is a part-time permanent / temporary (7 months) and casual opportunity available. The selected individual will work on a seven-day roster with on-call and overtime duties.
