At Western Sydney Local Health District, we are seeking a skilled social worker to join our team. Our department provides high-standard care to families in the district.

The role is based at Westmead Hospital, where you will provide social work services in various teams including Intensive Care, Emergency Department, and Surgery. You will have opportunities for skill development and growth within the team.

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Social Work and be eligible for membership of the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW). They will also possess significant clinical experience, particularly in emergency departments and working with diverse client groups.

In this role, you will utilise your exceptional time management skills and written and verbal communication abilities to develop effective clinical social work policies and procedures.

You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, initiating quality improvement initiatives, and supervising and teaching colleagues.
