About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our data platform services. As the Data Platform Services Manager, you will oversee the development and implementation of a modern, scalable enterprise-wide data platform.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide technical leadership, ensuring that the platform is optimized to meet business requirements. This includes driving improvements in data analytics platform architecture and tooling, ingestion frameworks, transformation pipelines, and implementing data governance frameworks.

  • Establish and manage a team of data specialists, including data engineers, data platform administrators, and data architects, supporting data platform development and operations.
  • Evaluate and uplift technical documentation on data analytics platform design and operations to ensure alignment with relevant policies and procedures and best practice and standards.
  • Optimize data analytics platform architecture and operations in line with business needs, making data more accessible and creating reliable and reusable data ingestion pipelines and transformation frameworks.
  • Monitor and enhance platform performance and usage to ensure efficient resource consumption and drive continuous improvement in platform reliability, data pipeline performance, and job orchestration.
  • Implement observability frameworks to proactively detect and resolve data issues and address data quality.
  • Partner with key internal and external stakeholders to deliver a fit-for-purpose enterprise-wide data analytics platform infrastructure with technical capabilities that are scalable, flexible, and cost-effective.
