This is an exceptional opportunity to shape the future of data-driven decision making in PropTech. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will lead the development of a brand new data platform and power AI models for smarter property insights.
Main Responsibilities:- Create and implement a data architecture strategy that drives business growth.
- Design and scale pipelines on Microsoft Azure & Databricks to handle diverse data sources.
- Develop infrastructure to support AI models, real-time analytics, and predictive scoring.
- Collaborate with product and commercial teams to align data with customer and market needs.
- Drive best practices in data quality, governance, and observability.
- Mentor engineers and help set the technical direction for the team.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in AI and property tech. This role requires strong communication skills and experience in SaaS or startup environments.
Requirements:- 7+ years in data engineering, ideally some experience as a technical lead.
- Strong background in ML-ready data modelling and scalable architecture.
- Excellent communication skills to work across technical and commercial teams.
- Familiarity with Airflow, Snowflake, Kafka, MLflow, SageMaker.
- Experience in SaaS or startup environments.
