About Your Role:

As a key member of our Underwater Systems team, you'll be responsible for upholding the integrity of our MU90 Light Weight Torpedo (LWT) program. Your primary focus will be on ensuring compliance with maintenance and safety requirements, as well as guaranteeing adherence to top-tier quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Control: Oversee quality control processes and safety protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, driving corrective action where needed.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential hazards and compliance risks, crafting proactive action plans and strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Training & Development: Provide guidance and training to staff on quality control and safety best practices, and advise leadership on regulatory changes impacting compliance and policies.
  • Audit & Reporting: Conduct regular audits and generate detailed reports to track performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work with, and develop sound working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure Work, Health, Safety and Environment (WHSE) and Quality compliance, fostering best practices in all of these areas.

Your Skills:

  • Certification/Diploma in WHSE or Quality Management.
  • Proficiency in Quality and WHSE Management Systems.
  • Advanced computer skills, especially in MS Office.
  • Strong communication skills for internal and external collaborations.
  • Proactive, self-starter who can think critically to solve complex problems.
