About the Role

The City of Rockingham is seeking a highly skilled Records Management Specialist to join our team. As a Records Officer (Compliance), you will play a critical role in ensuring the City's compliance with Western Australia Government's privacy and information sharing legislation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement records management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff on records management best practices and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with records management policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records management systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective information governance and compliance.
Requirements
  • Qualification in records management, information management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in records management and compliance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • A competitive salary of $74,999 per annum.
  • 11.5% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%.
