We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team as an Employment Consultant. In this role, you will work closely with clients to identify their career goals and develop personalized strategies to achieve success.

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, including job seekers, employers, and community partners, to facilitate job placement and support services.
  • Evaluating job seeker skills and abilities, identifying areas of improvement, and developing targeted interventions to enhance employability.
  • In consultation with job seekers, creating tailored employment plans, providing job search assistance, and offering training and education opportunities to build confidence and skills.
  • Facilitating connections between job seekers and potential employers, leveraging networking opportunities to secure meaningful employment outcomes.
  • Offering pre-employment support through vocational guidance, resume development, interview preparation, and other essential job readiness tools.
Skill Requirements

You will be a motivated, empathetic, and organized individual with a passion for customer service and a talent for building strong relationships. Previous experience in the employment services sector is beneficial but not mandatory.

  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in using computer systems to track client progress and manage databases.
  • Able to establish trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds, including those with disabilities or complex needs.
  • Prioritize achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) related to successful job placements, retention rates, and client satisfaction.
  • Hold a current NDIS Worker Screening check or be willing to obtain one.
