Culturally Sensitive Family Support Specialist

At Central Australian Aboriginal Congress, we are seeking an Aboriginal Family Support Worker to provide culturally safe and responsive support to children and families referred to our Family Support Services. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a Case Worker under a bi-cultural pair model, providing support and guidance to families in need. To be considered for this position, you will require:
- Identification as an Aboriginal person, recognised and accepted by the Aboriginal community.
- Excellent communication skills, including fluency in one or more local Aboriginal languages, and the ability to communicate sensitively in a cross-cultural environment.
- Proven experience in providing support to Aboriginal children and families.
- A current driver's licence.
