About the Role

A permanent, full-time position is now open within our Dental Corporation's Risk, Governance, and Quality Assurance team. This hybrid role allows for flexibility in work arrangements, enabling you to work from home or our various office locations.

Your Responsibilities

As the Manager of Clinical Governance Operations, you will oversee all elements related to clinical governance, particularly in subcontractor management, data entry, and quality assurance. Your role will also encompass the comprehensive management of clinical and risk reporting, ensuring that all operational facets of clinical governance activities are executed effectively.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on clinical governance requirements, fostering a culture that empowers staff to adhere to quality, clinical risk, and patient safety standards in line with relevant accreditation benchmarks.
  • Lead governance, quality assurance, and process enhancement initiatives to optimize team operations, including workload distribution and risk reporting.
  • Manage critical clinical governance policies and procedures, including the clinical governance plan, while providing support to the service delivery team.
  • Facilitate improvements to essential governance systems that enhance team efficiency and drive insights into quality enhancement efforts.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and reporting of data from clinical governance activities, contributing to both internal and external reports.
  • Ensure alignment with industry standards and adherence to the governance, risk management, and compliance framework.

What You Need
  • A health professional or allied health practitioner with substantial experience in Clinical Governance, Quality, and Risk Management.
  • Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards qualifications in Quality Management, Health Administration, or Clinical Governance are highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to lead quality and compliance functions effectively.
  • Demonstrated skills in refining service delivery and clinical governance processes.
  • Experience in developing and implementing frameworks that drive outcomes and deliver programs.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in implementing organization-wide quality improvement initiatives.

This position requires security clearance; candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.
