We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Support Officer to join our team. As an Administrative Support Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting our local Corps (churches and community hubs) across South Australia.
Key Responsibilities:- Admin Support: Provide administrative support to our Corps Officers, including tasks such as staff and volunteer onboarding, processing invoices, and managing asset registers.
- Volunteer Coordination: Coordinate volunteer training to meet mandatory safety and compliance standards.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of volunteers, including their contact details and availability.
- Communication: Liaise with IT, Payroll, and Finance teams to resolve local admin needs and provide support to teams remotely.
- A heart for community and a friendly, professional approach to working with people.
- Experience in general administration, customer service, and strong computer literacy.
- Good attention to detail and experience with systems like Workday (ideal, but not essential).
- Confidence working independently, especially across multiple sites or remote locations.
- An understanding of compliance in the not-for-profit or volunteer sector.
- A current driver's licence and ability to travel state-wide.
- Required background checks (Police, Working with Children/Vulnerable People).
