Job Title: Strategic Governance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Program Governance, Risk and Reporting professional to provide a critical role within our organization.

The Department delivers a system that works to build a safer, fairer and stronger community. Our team focuses on meeting the department's data and digital needs by providing responsive and sustainable services focused on supporting outcomes.

This senior member of the program control office will support the leadership team, offering a deep knowledge and understanding of the program performance and risks. They will create and maintain accurate, concise and timely reporting to various governance forums.

The primary responsibilities include maintaining the governance cadence of the program, managing risk registers, interpreting reports, and providing performance reporting (including earned value).

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a senior role within a PMO or project / program delivery environment, preferably in IT projects for large-scale transformation programs.
  • Experience in project / program reporting and analysis, with a strong understanding of project controls / metrics.
  • Experience reviewing, designing and implementing governance / risk frameworks and operating models for large-scale transformation programs.
  • Ability to extract results from Live Agile metrics such as burndowns, velocity etc. for executive-level reporting.
  • Experience in developing data models and interactive business intelligence dashboard reports using Microsoft Power BI.
  • Highly skilled in collaboration, project management tools, and project site maintenance and administration - Smartsheet, Teams, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint.
  • Appropriate vocation qualifications and certifications, e.g., Project Management, risk management, would be highly desirable.
