About the Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support families and caregivers to understand the impact of dementia on each individual
  • Equip carers and clinicians with the skills and knowledge needed to prevent and respond to behaviour changes
  • Synthesize information to provide recommendations that are relationship-centred and informed by evidence-based best practice
  • Develop reports that contextualise situations and improve quality of life for people living with dementia
  • Conduct assessments to understand the holistic experience of individuals and their care networks
Requirements:
  • Experience supporting people living with dementia and a genuine commitment to person-centred care
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Relevant qualification in Allied Health, Nursing, Aged Care or Mental Health
