About the Role

Suncorp Group is seeking a skilled Claims Advisor to provide exceptional customer service and drive commercial outcomes. As a key member of our Claims team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of claims and working to resolve them in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Offer exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with claimants, third-party providers, and internal teams.
  • Manage claims from inception to resolution, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed and that claims are processed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams, including Injury Management and Technical Advisors, to ensure that claims are resolved in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Utilize and collaborate with relevant internal business areas to discuss and action plan file direction.
Requirements
  • Ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy for customers.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to negotiate with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Strong administrative and written skills, with the ability to effectively manage all aspects of each claim.
  • Strong commitment and high degree of integrity to help meet and exceed customer expectations.
