Claims Specialist

Job Summary
Suncorp Group is seeking a skilled Claims Advisor to provide exceptional customer service and drive commercial outcomes. As a key member of our Claims team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of claims and resolving them in a timely and optimal manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer exceptional customer service to claimants and stakeholders
- Manage claims from inception to settlement, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to discuss and action plan file direction
- Utilize and collaborate with Injury Management Advisors and Technical Advisors to assess and resolve claims
- Continually assess quantum and estimate of claims, utilizing evidence available and procedural requirements
Requirements
- Ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy for customers
- Excellent verbal communication skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution
- Strong administrative and written skills, with ability to effectively manage claims within legislative restraints
- Strong commitment to customer service and integrity, with a focus on meeting and exceeding customer expectations
