Logistics Supervisor Job Description

Our organization is seeking a skilled Logistics Supervisor to manage our fleet of drivers and heavy vehicles, as well as develop strategies that enhance customer experience.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Manage driver recruitment, retention, incident investigations, and site inspections to ensure safe delivery.
    • Ensure equipment operates within safe working conditions and meets environmental and legislative requirements.
    • Review and manage driver behaviors and performance to company standards.
    • Conduct safety meetings and regulatory audits.
    • Collaborate with Customer Service and Allocations teams to maximize fleet output.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in Transport and Logistics operations, particularly in CoR compliance.
  • A strong commitment to safety and the environment.
  • A superior customer focus.
  • Experience in management and leading teams.
