Excellence in Disability Partnerships
">- About the Role: This is a dynamic opportunity to lead our business development efforts and establish strong partnerships within the disability sector.
Key Responsibilities:
">- Partnership Development: Develop and implement strategies to build and foster partnerships with key stakeholders, including NDIS service providers, disability service providers, government agencies, community groups, and relevant industry bodies.
Referral Pathway Establishment:
">- Establish and enhance referral pathways in targeted states to ensure smooth transitions and continuity of care for individuals with disabilities. Identify gaps in service provision and develop protocols for efficient referral processes in collaboration with local stakeholders.
Network Building:
">- Establish and nurture a wide network of contacts within the disability sector in each targeted state. Actively engage with stakeholders through networking events, conferences, and meetings to expand United for Care's presence and influence in new regions.
Collaboration and Relationship Management:
">- Work closely with internal teams to facilitate effective collaboration and information sharing between United for Care and local service providers, support workers, and program managers. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing partners, as well as identify opportunities for collaboration and joint initiatives in new markets.
Knowledge Sharing:
">- Facilitate interdepartmental workshops to share best practices within the disability sector and upskill internal teams to ensure staff understand United for Care's service offering, unique value propositions, and how to actively promote these.
Requirements:
">- A deep commitment to improving the lives of people with disability and a track record of driving business growth. You will bring to this role:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as disability studies, social work, business, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in partnership development, stakeholder engagement, or a related field within the disability sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, negotiate effectively, and influence stakeholders at various levels.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and achieve desired outcomes.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify gaps, develop solutions, and evaluate partnership effectiveness.
