About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Buyer to join our team at Hanes Australasia. As a Buyer, you will be responsible for developing and driving the strategic direction of the lingerie category portfolio and leading the range building process of seasonal collections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with planning and design to develop and implement the range building process, considering factors such as colour, shape, range sizing, and product mix.
  • Drive regular reviews and updates of ongoing styles from a commercial and profitability lens, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Accountable for the accuracy of buy plans and delivery schedules, as well as range building and product development.
  • Conduct monthly competitor analysis to stay informed about market trends, both locally and globally, with regular visits to stores to gather insights.
  • Stay up-to-date with consumer insights and market data to drive growth and opportunities.
Requirements
  • Buying experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of the fashion and apparel industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and computer literacy, including proficiency in Excel.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional departments and build strong relationships.
  • Strong numeracy and financial acumen, with the ability to analyze data and inform strategic decisions.
  • Results-driven and focused, with the ability to problem-solve and manage multiple priorities in a systematic and efficient manner.
