About the Role

The Iconic is seeking an experienced Assistant Category Buyer to join our dynamic Commercial team. As a key member of our Womenswear team, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and maximizing profit within your category.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Category Buyer in achieving sales growth and profit targets within your category.
  • Assist in the procurement of products, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Monitor inventory levels to maintain adequate stock levels and prevent stockouts.
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve issues and negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Marketing, Vendor Management, Operations, and Finance.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Assistant Buyer in a high-volume business.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Jira, Excel, BI, BC, and knowledge of API integrations and platform software preferred.
