Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting month-end activities and reporting for the Corporate function. Key aspects of this role include accounting and financial reporting, preparing journal entries for month-end accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, and other monthly financial reports.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Accounting and Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and other monthly financial reports.
  2. Support Half Year and Year-End Statutory Requirements: Provide data and respond to queries in a timely manner to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  3. Regular Financial and Management Reporting: Assist in the preparation of regular financial and management reports, including commentary and analysis.
  4. Vendor and CAPEX Forms: Complete vendor and CAPEX forms as required to ensure costs are accurately recorded and payments can be made timely.
  5. Financial Controls and Compliance: Ensure effective financial controls and compliance throughout the organization.
  6. Payment Status Monitoring: Monitor payment status and assist with month-end closures within the team.
  7. Stakeholder Relationships: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  8. Vendor Accounts and Coding: Verify vendor accounts and coding as required to ensure expenses are accurately accounted for.
  9. External Audit Requirements: Assist with external audit requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years' experience in accounting or related field (Big 4 experience highly desirable).
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • Working towards or completed CA or CPA qualifications.
  • Proven attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced MS Excel essential, SAP and TM1 highly desirable.

Salary and Benefits
