Operations Excellence Manager

A day shift role with flexibility for good work life balance is available in Australia.

As an Operations Excellence Manager, you will be joining a food manufacturing company with a history dating back to 1852.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating the internal maintenance team and external contractors to ensure optimal operations.
  • Providing technical support with the maintenance of production machinery and associated equipment to maintain efficiency.
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement through capital project works and strategic planning.
  • Developing and implementing the Maintenance Management System to streamline processes.
  • Collaborating with cross functional departments to resolve maintenance issues effectively.

Requirements:

  • A degree or trade qualifications in engineering / mechanical discipline to drive technical excellence.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager / Supervisor in FMCG manufacturing environments.
  • An understanding of GMP principles and lean manufacturing practices to drive quality and efficiency.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • A team player mentality with a positive attitude to foster collaboration.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate ideas and strategies.
