Key Account Executive Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Key Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders alike.
Responsibilities- Build rapport with internal and external clients over the telephone and via email.
- Receive customer orders from key account managers and raise sales order forms on Imprint.
- Verify accurate pricing with suppliers for repeat client orders.
- Ensure artwork is checked, created or updated as required and signed off by the client.
- Raise purchase orders to suppliers and distribute approved artwork to customers.
- Enter details of any order onto the new order smart sheet and production control smart sheet.
- Closely monitor production updates with suppliers to ensure agreed timescales are met.
- Provide necessary documentation to the warehouse to facilitate timely dispatch or stockholding.
- Handle incoming calls and respond to client or supplier queries efficiently.
- Manage and update online order portals for clients.
- File samples in relevant client files.
- Collaborate with other departments and supply chain partners to meet contractual due dates.
- Identify and implement corrective actions for late or excessive lead times.
- Log issues on NCR Smartsheet.
- Focus on process improvements to minimize lead times.
- Communicate effectively with customers throughout the order lifecycle.
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Basic IT literacy.
In return for your expertise, you can expect a competitive basic salary between £25,000 - £28,000 (dependent on experience), plus an uncapped bonus scheme up to £4,500 (based on sales performance) and an estimated 7% company profit share bonus. With a basic salary of £25,000, the OTE would be £31,250 per annum.
