Capital Works Portfolio Manager

About the Role:
- We are seeking an experienced Capital Works Portfolio Manager to join our team, responsible for overseeing a program of capital works projects nationwide.
- The successful candidate will be accountable for the overall strategic planning and implementation of these projects by external parties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishment and management of programs, including stakeholder engagement and supplier relationships.
- Development of scopes of work, program priorities, budgets, and forecasts.
- Program execution, governance, and commercial oversight.
- Resource allocation and procurement.
- Management of project financials, performance reporting, and risk assessment.
Requirements:
- Proven understanding of portfolio management principles, capital planning, risk management, construction contracts, and cost management.
- Experience managing complex programs or portfolios, preferably within the real estate or construction industry.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage internal teams, external partners, and senior management.
- A professional approach, with the ability to build trust and partnerships with stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking, forward planning, problem-solving, decision-making, and influencing skills.
