About This Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional to join our Capital Works Team as a Capital Works Project Officer.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and deliver projects within the Capital Works program, with a focus on Landscape and Sportsfield initiatives.
  2. Specialise in procurement and construction delivery of small to medium scale playground and reserve projects.

Our ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, including contract administration, tendering, and coordination with contractors and consultants.

We are looking for someone who is skilled in preparing project specifications, administering contracts, and overseeing tendering and contract administration.

Responsibilities will also include:

  • Coordinating and supervising contractors and consultants.
  • Identifying project risks and mitigation strategies in accordance with WHS legislation.

For this role, we require:

  • A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Design, Landscape Architecture, Project Management, Construction Project Management, or similar field.
  • Sound understanding of project management processes, tendering, procurement, WHS, security of payments, legislation, contract law, and administration.
  • Strong financial, contract, project, and time management skills.
  • Hold a White Card - General Construction Induction.
  • Driver's Licence (Class C) - NSW.

This is a permanent full-time role offering a competitive salary package starting from $100K per annum plus Superannuation and Car Allowance.
